Leddy Gordon Story
Leddy Gordon is based and from Folkestone, in Kent. She is an honours graduate from Chelsea College of Arts, 2005 and was awarded a first class MA at City and Guilds London Art School in 2021. She spends her time operating between her commercial and fine art practice. And exhibits nationally and internationally.
She works full time from her studio in the heart of Folkestone's Creative Quarter. From 2010 - 2015 she ran an art supplies shop in Folkestone. Upon being gifted an architects drawing board she began creating watercolours in the shop to pass the time. Visitors regularly enquired to purchase the artworks made more and more frequently. With growing interest the shop became a gallery in just under a year. She has had the honour of being commissioned by Saga for four large biro drawings for the Spirit of Discovery luxury liner and was invited to exhibit four large scale drawings at the Folkestone Museum based upon their Victorian taxidermy collection. She was a stockist for the Wellcome Collection from 2014 - 2017 with her greeting card designs and is a regular participant at the prestigious Art Car Boot Fair, selling out at many of the events.
She has exhibited her work widely, and her work is held in many private collections both in the UK and abroad.
